Guild Principles
Loyalty – we want players who want to be a part of the Midnight Pinnacle gaming community
Attitude – we maintain a positive attitude, both in instance and out, both with guildies and non-guildies
Compassion – we don’t rage or belittle at mistakes, but diagnose the issue and improve
Respectfulness – we respect each other, including guild leadership, fellow guildies, new recruits, and non-guildies
Maturity – part and parcel of our attitude, keeping composure, applying an analytical, high-minded approach
Proficiency – we develop our knowledge and ability with our class and role gameplay, and game mechanics
Perserverance – we understand we may not kill the boss the first time, or the first 50 times, or the first 150 times. We continually improve and finally prevail
Commitment – we determine to consistently make all of the above a part of our gameplay and guild etiquette
General Etiquette
- Be friendly and responsive in guild chat and Discord - say hello, grats for levels and achievements, etc. Short macros work!
- Note that sometimes quiet in the in-game guild chat is due to convo occurring on Discord
- Wear your guild tabard and show guild pride (unless actively farming reputation)
- Treat guildies and non-guildies honestly and fairly
- Be an example of a helpful, skilled, knoweldgeable, friendly, positive, trustworthy game player, i.e., a <Midnight Pinnacle> member
- Casual players not active at any events, log on at least once a month to maintain guild membership
- Be friendly, and take the high road, i.e. a <Midnight Pinnacle> member
Raid Etiquette & Loot
- Raids are for in-guild mains, alt raids are for in-guild alts
- Be at the raid location in-game, and on Discord, ready to pull at start time
- Be prepared with flasks, potions, enchants, and other consummables
- Everyone runs back from wipes
- We don't rage at mistakes but calmly diagnose and improve
- Be knoweldgeable of the boss fights planned
- Hard stop time is the hard stop time
- Be sure to attend raid at least 85% of the time (Heroic) or 50% of the time (Normal) to keep your raid spot (percentages adjusted per raid/progression)
- LOOT: Blizzard handles loot now automatically, but if a BOE drops we first roll for need with priority for attendance, and then roll for greed only if no need
Dungeon and Other Activity Etiquiette
- Discord is optional yet strongly encouraged
- Do your best to complete instances / dungeon keys / group objectives
